Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mark D. Wells attended Western Michigan University where he received his Bachelor in Music Education degree. Mark’s teaching experience began in Hartford where he served as Director of Bands. Mark received his Master in Conducting from American Band College in Ashland, Oregon. Mark served as Director of Bands in Laingsburg, before accepting the position in East Grand Rapids in 2010. Mark’s diverse teaching experience, extensive performing and incorporation of technology in the classroom compliment his passion to provide the highest standard of music education.
